Overview

Boke Èkēsācíhgwi was founded durring the early 13th century in winter of the year 1215, by Gilelê. The establishment of Boke Èkēsācíhgwi was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Gilelê electing to pay people to resettle in Boke Èkēsācíhgwi.

Boke Èkēsācíhgwi was built using the conventions of Tauran durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Boke Èkēsācíhgwi is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Boke Èkēsācíhgwi is is constructed arround a series of spacious paverstone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. The robustly designed timber walls have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

A look around Boke Èkēsācíhgwi gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a city, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes.

Points of Interest

Some important ruler or leading figure resides in the community. This may be the seat of a regional lord, or it could be the traditional residence of a high priest, great magus, merchant house, or other wielder of influence. The community itself may or may not be under their direct control, but the wishes of the august figure must be acknowledged by the locals.

Boke Èkēsācíhgwi's is something of a geological and arcane anomaly, as neither physical nor magical law entirely explains its formation.

The operation was complicated by major logistical problems. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a crushing defeat for Boke Èkēsācíhgwi's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Boke Èkēsācíhgwi's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
